How to Buy Japanese Used Car

Step1

Please contact us by e-mail (info@teatimejapan.com), by fax (+81-536-34-0127), or use the inquiry form on our website.

Step2

If a car that you want is not in our inventory, we can ask around to users in Japan and can look for it at auctions around Japan.

Step3

If you are going to purchase a car that is in our stock, you wire the FOB price to our bank account by T/T (telegraphic transfer).

If you are going to purchase a car via an Auto Auction, your deposit will be 50% of the vehicle. You will wire the deposit to our bank account by T/T.

Step4

If you are going to purchase a car that is in our stock, we will start to arrange to ship your car as soon as possible after we receive your full payment.

If you are going to purchase a car via an Auto Auction, after we confirm the receipt of your deposit, please start to search for the vehicle that you want us to bid for. After you find the vehicle, we will e-mail you with the estimated total FOB price.

Please e-mail us with your final decision whether you want to bid or not, and then we will bid for the car on your behalf.

If we make a successful bid for the car, your final payment will be calculated according to the actual price that was bid. You can check out the actual price yourself on the internet.

Step5

If we purchase a car for you via the Auto Auction, we will inform you of the total payment within 24 hours of making the bid.

Please wire the payment by T/T to our account within two days. If we are not able to buy the car within your budget, you can tell us to try again or we can refund your deposit.

Step6

After we receive your full payment, we will arrange for the car to be shipped to you.
After your car has been shipped, we will fax you a copy of the B/L (bill of lading).

What if your bid is not successful?

Please do not worry.
We will refund your deposit in full.

Please note, however, that after we make a successful purchase of your vehicle, you cannot cancel your order for the vehicle.
